Armen’s work is predominantly abstract. Abstraction allows space for imagination and interpretation, inviting viewers into a world of limitless possibilities shaped by form and color. For Armen, abstraction also offers an escape from harsh realities. Growing up, he was deeply affected by stories of war and the ongoing socio-political and economic struggles in Lebanon, where instability and injustice were ever-present.

Despite experiencing hardship and adversity, Armen’s art consistently conveys messages of hope, love, faith, and resilience, while also addressing socio-economic themes. His abstract compositions often function as a form of visual storytelling, at times resembling a personal diary translated through color and movement. Difficult periods never dimmed his creative spark, he transformed challenges into a canvas of bold, expressive colors,

Armen is recognized for his vibrant palette and energetic, uplifting compositions. While best known for his fully abstract works, he occasionally incorporates realistic elements when the message or intended audience calls for it, creating a dynamic balance between abstraction and representation.
